The Quilen Statuette is one of two rare Mogu artifacts which requires 180 Mogu fragments (including up to three keystones) to compete. The summoned quilen lasts around 30sec with a 10min CD.
Quilen Statuette says: “Ow. That really hurts. Not.”
This statuette, carved during the brief reign of Mogu emperor Kang, was part of an experiment to bind Quilen servants in small stones. This experiment was abandoned as the Quilen thus bound were greatly diminished in power and thus deemed unworthy.

In this case, it appears the description above was correct. As a trinket, it wasn’t too impressive damage-wise but it could be used to bump up your alts ilvl. However, I was surprised to see him talk. He’s said to share the same dialogue as the Anatomical Dummy.
The hardest thing was getting my summoned pet and myself to face the same direction :P
The Spear of Xuen is a rare pandaren archaeology artifact, created from 180x Pandaren Archaeology Fragments and up to three Pandaren Pottery Shards.
- The broken pieces of this spear radiate power. Perhaps they can be reassembled into a usable weapon?
- Crafted during the Zandalari Troll Wars, this imposing spear is surprisingly lightweight and flexible. Its lacquered wooden shaft is gouged with deep scars, though the tip appears completely unscathed. Judging by the length of this weapon and its date of origin, you presume it was a mounted weapon intended for use from the back of a flying serpent. Scratched into the weathered handle is a note: “The only opponent is yourself.” Xuen, the White Tiger, is legendary for his ferocity and prowess in battle. It is at his temple, high in the mountains of Kun Lai Summit, that hopeful warriors temper their strength with discipline.
Another item that is just as powerful as a Heroic dungeon piece and only requires 85 to use!
Ordinarily, I would have given this item to my Hunter but since she doesn’t favour polearms any more, my Pali can have some fun with it :P
It should come as no surprise that Archaeology is probably my favourite profession in WoW, especially with all my Cymre Jones adventures. I admit that I took it kind of slow on live, only because I had experienced a lot of it on the beta so I was in no rush. But tonight I managed to max out the profession making me a Zen Master Archaeologist with a couple of other achievements – Documents of a Dark History and The Three Brew Fathers.
As I neared the 600 mark, I was excited to discover one of the rare items of Pandaria – the Umbrella of Chi-Ji. To complement the off-hand, Cool and I completed the Arena of Annihilation as the quest item gave us both a decent weapon upgrade.
I forgot how easy it is to get achievements in the scenarios :)
Oh and remember what I said I had in my farming patch yesterday? :D
I’ve never been so eager to harvest a crop before :P
One of the rare Mogu artifacts which converts to an Anatomical Dummy when completed. The item is only useable in Pandaria with a 1hr CD.
Use: Summon an Anatomical Dummy at target location for 5min. The punching bag acts as a target dummy while it persists.
He makes some rather interesting emotes when you use him as a target dummy :)
Ow. That really hurts. Not.
That doesn’t even tickle.
Bring it on, jerk.
You’re not very good at this torture thing.
Is that supposed to hurt?
You want a piece of me?
Oooh. Mr Mean Mogu.
I’m so scared.
I had a dig in the Valley of the Four Winds yesterday, in a spot I knew one of the new Champions spawn, although I hadn’t seen it yet. I thought it would be quite funny if it spawned just as I was digging. Guess what, it did!
So I thought I’d take a pic for my collection and let someone else kill it. But then I thought, what the hell and attacked it. As usual, he didn’t drop anything other than a piece of armour so I continued digging and about a minute later, I finished my latest rare artifact.
I thought it only natural that I place him on the spot the rare spawned :P
I was all set to get my last three bubbles working on my Archaeology but that took a while so I ended up doing a few short quests as well. My current Pandaren artifact was the rare item – the Umbrella of Chi-Ji so I was looking forward to completing it; especially when the icon looks like an unbrella but I thought it would just be a vanity item. I was excited to find that it was actually a pretty nice off-hand :)
Isn’t it lovely? Dare I say transmog worthy too :)
However, I’ve noticed if you completed the item before this current build on the beta (as I did on another toon) you’re still left with the placeholder item in your bag, same with the Spear of Xuen. So if you suspect you have a rare in your journal that you’d like to see completed, wait until the model is implemented in-game.
Oh and soon after that, I managed to get Zen Master Archaeologist. Too bad there’s no title though :P
