A Closer Look At MogIt

4

I’ve been using MogIt for as long as I can remember but it wasn’t until a few months ago, I realised you could remove a pre-selected item from the preview window. In case you weren’t aware, you can click Ctrl + right click an item to remove it from view. Pretty handy, right?

Then a few days ago, I asked @Aelobin (MogIt’s creator) if it was possible to delete a set from the addon. It seems you can when you have your Wishlist open. Say what? I didn’t even know you could do this as our conversation proved quite enlightning.  Seriously, did you know you can open your saved sets in their own wishlist module? Now I’ve noticed items labelled as part of your wishlist when browsing various armour slots but I always thought the word was just a heading under the menu.

I got a real kick out of seeing all my sets together but as I told Aelo, seeing myself as a female super is its own kind of awesome.

There should be another MogIt Armory update which I discussed a little while ago as well as some discussion about about some added functionality and wishful warp stalker mounts (I couldn’t resist :P) so keep and eye out for that.

An Unexpected Find

As I was looking through my blog dashboard, I noticed a referral link from Anoukisse so I went to check it out. She was talking about an addon created by Aelo (the author of Mogit) called MogIt Armory in which she happened to be featured. It was only then that I noticed that Cymre was in the image too, as well as a number of other familiar bloggers.

I admit I was flattered and intrigued so I logged out to try it. The addon was designed to offer mogging enthusiasts some inspiration, as it incorporates over 11, 000 player templates who were randomly selected from the armory.

I had a quick look to see what other people had mogged and found a lot of similarities to the one I had designed around the Robes of the Guardian Saint – the most popular mog from my Armed and Dangerous series.

So the next time you’re on Curse, why not check it out. You may just find yourself staring back at you.
