Each month I’ve been playing just enough Hearthstone to get to rank 20 – not to use the cardbacks mind you, I just like collecting them. Every now and then I’ll even step into the arena where I’ve drawn some really great cards like the combo below.
At the time I was trying to decide between the two dragons since I’ve never used either but I thought Noz would be a more valuable card if I could keep it on the board a while. Unfortunately, when I was close to using it, I didn’t get a chance. My opponent was already sitting at 10 making it a pretty quick win so playing it would have been redundant.
Tonight I played my usual priest deck where I drew Deathwing from a well used card. This was definitely one I was excited to try since I’ve never had a chance to use it before. I just hoped the match wouldn’t be over too quickly like so many lost opportunities before, particularly in arena.
Their next card made me smile.
I mean really, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to go. Even as I drew my next card, I knew which one I’d be using.
Talk about an unexpected turn of events although the card did seem familiar.
I made this card several weeks ago as a bit of fun – before any news of my own NPC came out. Of course I have to admit, an NPC is a much cooler thing to have since you can only interact so much with a playing card.
They were a good sport though, giving me the “Well Played” emote at the end.
Anxious to tame some new pets in Draenor, I copied my hunter over to Beast Lore some wildlife. I know you can just look these up on Petopia but there’s something exciting about hitting that button and seeing whether something it tameable or not.
There are three new families this time round.
Some of you would have been lucky enough to tame a hydra back in Wrath when the spectral ones from Shalozar were able to be tamed. Unfortunately, I was not one of them since I wasn’t in a rush to level my hunter so the ability to tame one was removed before I could.
These beauties are available in Shadowmoon Valley.
Just look at that face.
The following rylak sits in the Horde Garrison waiting to taxi us to a nearby camp just after we build our base. There are also some similar looking creatures in Frostfire Ridge called the Glacial Icemaw which are not tameable but may be found in the same area as the rylaks.
I spotted this Pack Boar pretty close to my garrison so thought it might be cool to have one as a pet. How disappointing to see it didn’t keep its little pack but check out the new frost trap.
Very different to the corrupted ones in Outlands.
In Warlords of Draenor, the Alliance crash land in Shadowmoon Valley after escaping their first encounter with the Iron Horde in Tanaan Jungle. This gorgeous zone is filled with rich draenei architecture as well as forming the base camp of the Alliance Garrison.
