Hunter’s Mark

Don’t mind me, I’m just taking note of which pieces I’m missing so I know what to focus on. I never collected the Gronnstalker set (while it was current) but I did have the lookalike PVP helm which I found quite amusing at the time – particularly when people told me it creeped them out.

Gronnstalker’s Chestguard – Illidan

Flamewaker’s Battlegear

Firearrow Belt – Avengers of Hyjal Q

Star Chaser Belt – Throne of the Four Winds
Coil of Ten Thousand Screams – Chogal

Belt of the Black Eagle – LW
Boots of the Crimson Hawk – LW

A couple of weeks ago, I collected the Trailseeker Vest which happened to be the last piece I needed from the salvage yard. Unfortunately, when I went to mog the set, I was hugely disappointed to find the shoulders were not moggable.

As you can see, there’s no actual design so I guess it makes sense but then why can DK’s mog their invisible belt?

My hunter’s wardrobe isn’t as extensive as Cymre’s so my limited number of shoulders weren’t a suitable fit until Coolidge offered me a great recommendation easily obtained from a vendor.

To be honest, there aren’t many Hunter sets I particularly like but the Giantstalker, recoloured Rift Stalker and murloc sets are the ones that stand out for me – even though it’s only certain pieces and not whole sets.

So tell me, what’s your favourite hunter set and is that what they’re wearing right now?

  1. I’ve always been disappointed that there wasn’t good transmog for the Ironforge Mountaineer. It looks very different on a Tauren!

    • Oh wow, is that where it’s from? I tweaked a few of the pieces but it’s a great looking set.
