Lending a Hand

It’s been a while since I entered a transmog competition but I was curious to see if I could do this one justice while helping someone out in the process. Samaramon wanted to create a set around the Tabard of the Hand so I focused on a cloth mog (as we both play priests).

At first I wanted to use the Sanctified Crimson Acolyte Robe but it turned out to be a little too subtle for the orange accents even with the Mantle of the Preserver and later the Mantle of the Ternion Glory.

Then I wanted to see if I could pull off a pant set but I wasn’t sure if Sam would be into that.

After a while I decided to try the Vestments of the Avatar which incorporated more golden tones together with the priest tier shoulders.

That reminds me, I need to go back and farm that staff.

Royal Seer

In the end I went for something quite different featuring the Royal Gown but I’m not sure if it’s a bit too close to another competitor’s entry (which I happened to notice earlier).

  1. Love the royal gown one, VNIICE!

  2. I like all three but I think my favourite is the first one and should my currently Bloodelf Priest end up Draenei for the next expansion, one I might pursue for her (albeit possibly without the tabard).

    • Oh nice. It was actually the first one I actually liked out of the 10 or so variations I had all up :P

  3. Oooh, these are all nice, but I think the second one is my favorite. Good luck with farming the staff!

I think your Royal Gown outfit is plenty different from mine :)

    • Thx. I had already fleshed out the designs when I saw yours yesterday but was a little surprised to see we had both used the same dress. You’re right though, other than the gown itself they are very different designs.

I had a lot of trouble choosing a favourite out of these three but had also forgotten to include weapons so I’m glad I saw your entry :)
