Seems my post the other day about Ordos worked, not only did I manage to kill him yesterday… he actually dropped something. I think Derevka inadvertently gave me some of his luck. Better still, I didn’t have to reforge a thing.
Last weekend I completed Downfall, the last section of the Siege of Orgrimmar. All I can say is wow, that last scene was disturbing but I was excited to find out the identity of the new warchief. Great choice imo.
…not to mention the alliance version.
It was great to see this tree blooming amidst of the recent devastation of the Vale, much like flying through the Barrens after Deathwing’s destruction.
Here’s the cutscene played out after Garrosh’s defeat.
Oh and I’m glad the technical issues were fixed after the mini patch last night. Trying to load into Org after so many attempts was not fun.
Thor is one of several powerful ancient beings who dwell in a magical realm called Asgard. Through history, these beings have been revered and worshipped as gods. Ages ago, Odin, lord of the Asgardian gods, desired a child who would one day exceed him in power. Odin wooed Gaea, the earth goddess, and from their union Thor was born in a small cave in Norway on Earth. Odin took him to be raised in Asgard by his wife, Frigga.
The young Thor grew up alongside his adopted brother Loki, the trickster, who was always jealous of his more favoured sibling. Thor grew in power and popularity and on his eighth birthday, Odin had the hammer Mjolnir created for him, enchanting it with powerful magic. Odin decreed that Mjolnir would be presented to Thor when his son had been proven a worthy warrior. After spending the next eight years training and performing heroic deeds, Thor was given the hammer and declared the greatest warrior in Asgard.More on Marvel.com
It’s hard to feature Thor without adding Chris Hemsworth to the mix. I haven’t had much experience with Thor as a character but I did happen to catch him in Thor and The Avengers. This time I tried to complete the look using as many plate pieces as I could (which I almost managed to do) so even though it’s not a true transmog, I’m pretty happy with the result.
Don’t forget to check out the rest of my Super Sunday series :)
Fifteen days after creating my Sky-Golem, I now have two more pets to show for it. Cool started work on one while I started building up another 15x Peculiar Energy Sources for the other. However, I didn’t realise that we only had 20 Living Steels in the Guild Bank meaning I would be short 10 to make mine today. I had a lot of Spirits saved on my hunter so I traded them in for trillium ore. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any on my alchemist for Riddle of Steel transmutes so I did the only thing left – a regular transmute.
Cool helped with the remaining ones so I had all the Living Steel I needed. After making my last Energy Source this morning, the set was complete.
I had an opportunity to try them out on my PTR so I was looking forward to seeing them in action.
