I also like the feature Guild Wars has which acts almost like a bottomless bag where each item goes into the same slot (no matter how much you have of that one item). However, this only works for raw materials apparently and not for transmog purposes, etc.

One of the things I miss about Star Wars Galaxies Online was that you could switch back to professions you previously learned. When doing so you would be right back where you were when you had it…so if it was maxed when you gave it up, it was maxed when you went back to it. It did cost a lot of in game currency (forget what currency they used) and you could do it only so often. Sadly, I forget what time frame they had on re-learning old professions. But it was handy as ever to do.

If Blizz were to ever do a complete overhaul of professions, I would hope they would take some notes/tips from SWG’s profession system. It was an awesome mini-game within the game…even their fishing was somewhat interesting.

I have the full suite of professions on my Tauren on Bloodhoof, but I’ve got a lot of character leveling to do as well as profession leveling before I can get that achievement.
