Panther Duo

After getting exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent a while ago, I managed to make two of the JC panthers for Cool and I. Getting a full stack of Wild Jade and River’s Heart seemed to take the most time. A couple of days ago, I went on a major mining run. Being 86, it was quite dicey making my way to Dread Wastes but I found that Trillium especially gave the best chances for Blue quality gems. The Mining Pick didn’t really yield much of a bonus though. In 400 odd pieces of ore, I only managed to get two green quality gems.

As I prospected my way to a near full stack of Wild Jade, I decided to trade in four of my Spirits of Harmony (on two characters) for twelve Golden Lotus (plus the two we already had in the G bank) and transmuted my way to 21 Wild Jade and 20 River’s Heart. Not many procs unfortunately, even as a transmute master but I got what I needed so I was happy.

I wrapped the mount up for Cool to surprise him the next day. I couldn’t wait for him to notice his new mail icon and hear his reaction upon opening it, making sure not to say anything about it until he noticed the mail himself. Luckily he opened it that afternoon while I was around.

Sapphire and Jade panthers

I was originally going to save up for the Jewelled Onxy Panther but I must say, I rather like my Sapphire Panther and Cool sure likes his Jade Panther. Maybe at the end of the expansion, I’ll get around to making it then.

Dread Haste Makes Dread Waste

Today I’m officially done with all the quests in Pandaria, finishing off the storylines in Dread Wastes and finding all of the Paragons in the zone. Completion meant a handful of achievements including Dread Haste Makes Dread Waste as well as Loremaster of Pandaria.

Dread Haste

It feels so satisfying to say I’ve completed all the storylines in Pandaria. Now to focus on the remaining reputations, some more heroics and start raiding. We tried two heroics today – Heroic: Siege of Niuzao Temple and Heroic: Mogu’shan Palace. I was a bit worried about the second last boss in Niuzao Temple (having fought him once on the beta) but I don’t know what I was worried about… he was pretty easy. It helps when people seem to know what they’re doing though.
