Mischief Milestone

You may have seen The Cym Daily by now but here’s the latest instalment for the Mischief Monthly. Ever since Patch 5.0.4 went live, Cool and I have been keeping a sharp eye on our Guild rep. Over the last few days we have been consistently doing a whole lot of dailies and quests on our family of characters. I was all set to do the Darkmoon dailies on all six toons but by the time I got to the second day of it I was already sick of them. :P If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I was doing them consistently when the new mounts and pets were added.

Oh well, it was a nice thought while it lasted. Never-the-less, we managed to get Rank 18 today which was great to see. Although I didn’t get to see the ornate pop-up I was expecting… just a very bright spotlight. I know it’s been a while since we’ve had a Guild level achievement but was it always like that?

Level 18 Rank

There also wasn’t anything in the achievement window which shows the accomplishment (or one I wanted to use from the armory) so you get the one from the Guild window. :)

Champion

The other day I read about Erinys talking about how nice it was to be able to see which toon collected what achievement. Cool also mentioned something we hoped to see one day. Our Rank 10 PVP titles from our Alliance toons on our main Horde characters. We may never get to see this in the traditional sense of sporting our Champion titles above our heads but after seeing this, it’s something.

In other news, I spent quite a long time going through my personal bags, bank and Guild Bank. I’m proud to say I’ve cleared out a lot of room again. Some of it was listed in the AH, so you might find that transmog item you’ve been looking for or some mats at a bargain price. I also cleared the dust off my Antique Cornerstone Grimoire today which was an item I always wanted when Ony was current but only managed to get when Cool and I 2P’ed her earlier in the year. However, I don’t think I’ve actually tried out the effect before now.

So here were are in Twilight Highlands, hope you enjoyed your one min of fame there.

By the way, in case you missed it, the Mogolympics now has it’s own website, with each faction getting their own post. Also, the TNB Round Table I was recently a part of is up.

  1. I know, yesterday I was doing dailies on everybody when I realized I might be able to get my one person guild to level 5 before Mists, lol. Don’t know how long I can take it! Grats on that 18!

  3. Congrats on level 18!

I have never been able to stomach those DMF dailies more than once or twice during that week :/ If you and Tome are really interested in getting some guild levels before Mists hit, the turn-in’s of Aldor/Scryer rep items works incredibly well. I got PFfaD from 5-8 in a couple of days. You just need a 65-70-ish character.

    • @Tome – I know exactly how you feel about rank 5 and 6. It was a real milestone when we passed them.

      @Arv – Thx :)

@Kam – This week was the first time I’ve done the Profession monthlies on my other 4 characters. Talk about a lot of trips to TB :P

@Dray – Interesting… I only sold a few Arcane tomes yesterday =/ Why only 65-70 though? for the quest chains?

      • You have to be “level appropriate” for the quests to give the 60k guild xp. I did it on a lvl 71.

          • We’ve been getting 367 for all quests and dailies regardless of level. Is it any more than that?

  4. Congrats!

I can do the profession monthlies for a few dozen characters in one marathon session, but I’ve only ever been able to stomach the dailies on one or two characters at a time who were farming tickets for specific items.

  5. yay congrats on level 18! And wow that shiny light.. I don’t remember it being like that… but I guess if they want to do it like a personal ding then it’s gotta have some sort of light.. right?

    • Yep, I was just missing the pop-up window. Plus I was in my Cymre Jones outfit and in shadowform which is why it was purple. :P

  6. I think the 367 is guild rep, this was giving 60k guild experience, but nevermind me, it seems they made it so it doesn’t work anymore today :)
