Taurens in Ulduar

I guess you could say this was my version of Sliders (I used to love that show, until they changed the main actor). But yes folks, if this were some parallel universe, Cool and I could have been upright cows.

In the last week of March, Cool and I did something drastic during our really shitty time in the game. As I stated earlier in the week, amidst our Guild and toon name changes, we also did some race changes. It wasn’t cheap but that the price we paid for the privacy we desperately needed. We didn’t do a lot on live but since Cool knows how much I love Ulduar, we decided to try some ULD10 since there was no way in Hell we could have killed past the first boss on ULD25.

So here’s a photo diary of our short time as cows – mostly of our kill shots in ULD.

Ulduar 10 - taurens

Ulduar 10 - taurens in Org

Ulduar 10 - Ignis the Furnace Master

Ulduar 10 - Razorscale

Ulduar 10 - XT-002 Deconstructor

Ulduar 10- Kologarn

Ulduar 10- Auriaya

As you can see, the first attempt didn’t go so well :P

I was having a bit of a lag issue so the cats were getting a bit much but once I changed back to Disc it was a lot better. If you look closely, you’ll notice the blue glow of my shoulders changes to my better geared Disc set, but the weapons are a bit of a giveaway too. I had forgotten what happened at the time but after seeing the pics, Cool was there to remind me.

Ulduar 10- Auriaya

All-in-all it turned out to be a productive afternoon and best of all I FINALLY managed to get my Igniter Rod! :D

Now to go back in there for all the transmog gear I’ve been coveting, get the rest of the achievements done and fragments on 25 for Val’anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings. I still have a way to go but I’m still determined to do it… let me know if any of you guys are up for it too sometime.

  1. Tauren Paladins are one thing, but Tauren Priests…
I have to admit they are always my first target in PvP. Don’t know why because I like Taurens in general.

Glad you got your off-hand and even more glad that you changed back into a Bloodelf :)

  4. Aww, aren’t you adorable!
But that T13 priest hat does look exactly as wierd and bizarre on a Tauren as I thought it would when I first saw the T13 previews.

That is an *awesome* picture of Razorscale!

  5. You two look quite lovely as Taurens! That Igniter Rod has to be the absolute most cool off hand ever.

    • @Slice – LOL

@Tome – I think so too. It’s one of the hero pieces to my stargazer costume. There’s another off-hand in a different colour too. Maybe we can have a Horde LBR sometime soon :)

@BadTauren – Thx for dropping by and commenting. I miss it too :/

  7. I love Taurens! Well, at least you were doing Ulduar, one of the best raid instances so far IMO! Great shots.
