Hellfire Peninsula Rares

The first questing zone for players after passing through The Dark Portal. A scorched zone, as well the site of many former battles and massacre of the Draenei. Although the Fel Reaver was probably the most annoying and scary introductions to the entire continent. I died by his foot more than once but that’s not surprising for a level 70 elite.

Players are also introduced early on to the threat of the Burning Legion at The Legion Front, further learning about Magtheridon’s creation of the corrupted Fel Orcs and the sacrifices made in past battles on Draenor. Players also begin to learn about Draenic and Orcish culture in quest hubs in the western peninsula.

Fulgorge – a worm that can spawn where other burrowing worms are found. Although his burrowing pebbles will be deep red instead of white (like the regular worms). He can still be tricky to find though.

Mekthorg the Wild – a fel orc found either by Hellfire Citadel or Zeth’gor.

Vorakem Doomspeaker – a demon located by the Legion Front, Pools of Aggonar, and the Throne of Kil’Jaeden.

Outlands generally had one group rare designated to each zone, which is one reason why I loved BC; of course the other would have to be my BE who remains my beloved main today. You were unlikey to single-handedly kill these elites until you had out-levelled the area. Coolidge and I often went back on our various combinations to tackle these foes.
