Blackrock Mountain Rares
Blackrock Mountain is a zone between the Burning Steppes and the Searing Gorge which links the two regions. This zone at one time was hotly contested between the forces of Ragnaros and his Dark Iron servants on one side and the black dragon Nefarian and his orc minions on the other. Thought to be one of the most important areas in the World of Warcraft lore.
Compared to vanilla, there aren’t as many rares in the zone since Patch 1.6 removed a lot of the rarity from many of these.
Found outside the entrance to Blackrock Depths
Found outside the entrance of BRS down the first ramp
Blackrock Depths
No longer a rare but roams up and down the tunnel on the RHS of the Ring.
No longer a rare but he’s right in front of the statue that you used to get Ironfel from for the Key Quest.

Lower Blackrock Spire

Spawns in the room with Highlord Omokk
Has a chance to spawn in the room with Highlord Omokk
Upper Blackrock Spire
Still found in the large room above the Rookery
Found in the Furnace Room of UBRS
This rare doesn’t always spawn but has a chance to drop the Starfire Tiara.
