Venomshroud Mix

I first saw this robe in Vanilla while farming in Silithus. At the time I was on my Tauren Hunter and was going to sell it when Huga said he didn’t want it. Hey, he wore Alanna’s Embrace so I thought he might wear this one too. In the end, Huga convinced me to try it on and keep it for fun.

Head: Virtuous Crown
Shoulder: Mistyreed Shoulderpads
Chest: Venomshroud Silk Robes
Waist: Ruthless Gladiator’s Cord of Accuracy
Hands: Mistyreed Gloves
Wrist: Voldrune Bracelets
Feet: Foortwraps of the Oracle
Weapon: Staff of Hale Magefire

Alternate Options
Shoulder: Virtuous Mantle
Wrist: Bracelets of Royal Redemption
Feet: Greenweave Sandals
Weapon: Will of Arlokk

In case you were wondering what this dress looked like on my Tauren, here’s a pic I took back then. The original is not always the best; but does bring back some lovely memories :)

  1. Love it, love it love it. This is one of my fav. dresses in the game, the items you found to go with it for transmog match wonderfully. I especially like the 2nd pic, beautiful.

  2. Love it too, especially with the snake staff. It goes fabulously well with the recoloured devout shoulders/head. Far better than the shoulders it’s meant to share a set with.

  3. I have always loved that dress. Especially since I saw it on Pando’s site! But it looks really good on Cymre and the accessories make it that much better.

  4. This is the dress that started my WOW Clothes obsession!

Back in the day I played the AH a lot to make money and in between a BG I decided to cruise the cloth armor section and came across this beauty!

I just think it’s gorgeous, even though I have complete Arachnophobia!
