15. A Fairy Tale Image
World of Warcraft is often described as cartoony and looking a bit, well, fairy tale-ish. Take a screen shot that makes you think of a fairy tale – use Disney inspiration if you must! Feel free to edit this screen shot a bit to enhance the fairy tale feel, or just get super creative with that in game camera!

There have been many adaptations of the story over the years and is thought to have originated somewhere in Europe sometime around the 14th Century. The most familiar version for me was the one written by The Brothers Grimm which was based on two retellings of the story and further revised in later editions.

“Oh, grandmother, what big ears you have!”
“The better to hear you with”.
“Oh, grandmother, what big eyes you have!”
“The better to see you with”.
“Oh, grandmother, what big hands you have!”
“The better to grab you with”.
“But, grandmother, what a dreadful big mouth you have!”
“The better to eat you with”.

The Red Riding Hood movie released in 2011 brings to life the latest adaptation of the story. I must say that I really enjoyed the movie and was better than I expected. So much so, I was eager to find a costume that would fit the bill in-game. I’m even inspired to do some more Fairy Tale costumes now and have three completed so far, including this one. So stay tuned :)

This also brings me to the end of my 15 day challenge. I must admit it was a lot of fun. Don’t be surprised if my posts slow down now… :P

Edit: recently posted on Kamalia’s blog, I thought this one was worth mentioning. Check it out :)
