Wisp Amulet

The Wisp Amulet is a rare archaeology artifact that requires 450 skill to find and 150 Night Elf Archaeology Fragments to solve. Up to three [Highborne Scroll] keystones may be used to complete it.

Unsolved Text
“This beautiful amulet is formed of loops and angles of bright golds, framing a large tear-drop emerald. Within the depths of the emerald you can see a small glowing sphere with a vaguely night elf face. The sphere seems to move about within the emerald, not trapped exactly as much as flitting about like an insect.”

Solved Text
Wisps are nature spirits thought to be dead night elves. They exist in tight connection with their forest homeland and night elves in general, performing such beneficial activities as construction, repair and defense of elven communities. Many wisps sacrificed themselves in order to defeat Archimonde at the end of the Third War, so there are fewer wisps today than there once were.

9. Your Character’s Hometown
We all have the same starting zones where we begin our various quests, but where does your character actually hail from?

I’ve had many hometowns since my character’s conception starting in Eversong Woods and then Silvermoon City where I worked on my JC’ing. Before long I moved my hearth to Orgrimmar, which gave easy access to the flight masters and zeppelins. In Burning Crusade my hearth was in Shattrah City, where I was able to use my trusty Ruby Slippers to send me back to the Scryers Inn. After I was exalted though, I changed faction working my way up to exalted status with The Aldor also; meaning my new hearth would be Aldor Rise. When Wrath came along I moved to Dalaran making the central inn my home. Even handier when you use the Kirin Tor ring freeing up another spot for your hearthstone. Now in Cataclysm, there are several places in Org you can use, but I have found ‘Cow Town’ to be the most convenient, being so close to the AH, inn and bank among other things. Even the Priest Trainer can be found around the corner and Portals a short flight away.

6. Favorite Line of Poetry/Lyric
Most of us have a favorite poet or song. Give us an image that you think represents your favorite line, or what line inspires you most. You should probably include said line and *maybe* give some explanation/reasoning behind it, unless you’re feeling overly ambiguous.

I admit this one had me stumped. Don’t get me wrong, there are songs I like and quotes I have used but it still took me a while to come up with something worthwhile. The picture above was taken during Vanilla in Moonglade. I’ve always liked the area except for the funny hue is gives to our clothes. I can’t help thinking of the upcoming expansion for Mists of Pandaria with its Asian influences especially during the Lunar Festival.

How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

How about Love?

This is a Musical I’ve seen multiple times at the theatre. The song in particular I think serves an important message. Quite fitting being the start of a new year with so many people posting their resolutions and such. There are a couple of other songs that I love in the show like Light My Candle, but I felt this one was more fitting.
