Ancient Amber

Ancient Amber is a rare archaeology artifact that requires 100 Fossil Archaeology Fragments to solve. The effect shrinks you down to ~50% and encases you in amber. The effect will last for 5mins but can be cancelled any time.

Stunned with a horrified expression. You’d make an interesting conversation piece on a shelf.

Unsolved: A particularly large hunk of petrified tree resin containing what appears to be a small humanoid figure.

Solved: The diminutive humanoid figure trapped within this massive hunk of amber is impossible to make out, its outline seeming to waver and blur even under the most steady scrutiny. The object makes those who look into it for too long uneasy, as if some time over the past millennia the fossil had become tainted with bizarre, eldritch power.

My Ancient Amber doesn’t even come close to the Maiden of Winter’s Breath Lake

Mojo whispers “I promise not to give you warts.” I seem to be scared stiff by this proposition (notice my legs)

Dance with the Brazier of Dancing Flames and become a dancing, fiery female Draenei encased in amber

Using Leyara’s Locket you can become a fossilized Druid

Even works with the Disgusting Oozeling debuff

Points to note:

  • I’ve read that you will lose your costume, when you use the Amber, however it does seem to work with Leyara’s Locket (seen above);
  • Can’t be used in combat so no fun in battlegrounds;
  • Can’t be used while moving, so don’t expect to save you if you’re falling off a cliff or something :P

  2. I’m currently working on building the Ancient Amber. It’s probably a good thing that it can’t be used in combat. Raid and BG gags galore…
